Imagine Christians across denominations, age groups and ethnic divides, joining together to pray to our one God and act as one family in the one Church of Christ, in support of our persecuted brothers and sisters throughout the nations. This is the vision of UNITE.
Our vision is that UNITE should light a beacon of prayer and release a wave of support for the Persecuted Church.
We want it to be a channel for spreading awareness of the issues surrounding persecution – within the Church and to the wider world, to the media and to politicians.
We want it to strengthen Christians in their determination to live in God's world, God's way.
This is how under God we can come together, to UNITE in fighting the spiritual battle, in seeking freedom.
Two hundred years ago Christians joined a battle for freedom, to end the transatlantic slave trade. We have the opportunity to do something similar in our generation. Together we can make a difference.
Worldwide 200 million Christians experience persecution and suffer discrimination simply because they are followers of Jesus Christ. UNITE will help you to understand the issues at the root of this persecution, and to hear stories from those who have experienced persecution first hand.
